This manual is prepared in accordance with the Promotion of Access to Information Act ("PAIA") and the Protection of Personal Information Act ("POPIA") and applies to Scorebet (Pty) Ltd (Registration Number: 2013/122709/07), a licensed bookmaker regulated by the Northern Cape Gambling Board. This manual is intended to foster transparency, enable access to information, and support data subject rights.

  • No personal data is currently transferred outside of South Africa unless legally required and protected under POPIA.

10. REQUEST PROCEDURE

  • Requests must be submitted in writing using Form 2 (available from https://www.justice.gov.za/inforeg/).

  • Email or post the completed form to the Information Officer.

  • Pay the prescribed request fee before processing.

  • Requests will be processed within 30 days.

11. FEES

  • A request fee is payable.

  • Additional fees may apply for reproduction and search time.

  • If a request is refused, any deposits will be refunded.

12. REFUSAL OF ACCESS

Access may be refused if:

  • It breaches privacy or commercial confidentiality

  • It involves legally privileged documents

  • It poses a risk to safety or public interest

  • It relates to third-party trade secrets or competitive advantage

13. REMEDIES IF REQUEST IS DENIED

  • Submit a complaint to the Information Regulator

  • Lodge a High Court application to review the decision
